Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Sip N Smash does with information on sipnsmash.net — the site you are on right now. It covers browsing the site, sending us a message through our contact form, joining The Smash Crew email list, and clicking through to order online.

Sip N Smash is the business responsible for the information collected here. You can reach us at 7540 Gate Parkway, Units 115-116, Jacksonville, FL 32256, by email at admin@sipnsmash.net, or by phone at (904) 232-8470.

Online ordering runs on a separate platform (Toast). When you place an order there, Toast handles your order, delivery, and payment details under its own privacy policy — we do not receive or store your card number.

• What you tell us: Our contact form asks for your first name, email address, and your message. The Smash Crew signup asks for your email address only. If you email or call us, we get whatever you choose to include in that note.
• What your browser sends us: Like any website, our hosting provider automatically sees basic technical details needed to deliver the page: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the site that sent you here. We use this to keep the site up and to spot abuse, not to build a profile about you.
• Small notes in your browser: We store a couple of short flags in your browser's session storage so a promotion does not pop up twice in the same visit. These clear when you close the tab and hold nothing about who you are.
• Web fonts: This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That single request reveals your IP address to Google. We do not control what Google does with it.
• What we do not do: No advertising cookies, no analytics trackers, no social media pixels on this site. We do not sell your personal information.

• To answer you: So the right person from our crew can reply to your question, feedback, catering ask, or complaint.
• To send The Smash Crew emails: Only to the people who signed up, and only about new menu items, special drops, and offers.
• To keep the site working: Basic logs help us spot outages, errors, and automated abuse before they reach you.
• To run a better restaurant: General patterns in what people ask about help us decide what to put on the menu next.

We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. Outside of that, your information reaches only these places:

• The people who run this site: Our hosting and database provider stores the messages and email addresses you submit, on our behalf and under their own confidentiality terms.
• Our ordering platform: Toast processes orders placed through sipnsmash.toast.site. That relationship is between you and Toast, under Toast's privacy policy.
• When the law requires it: We may disclose information to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our guests, our crew, or the public.
• If the business changes hands: In a sale, reorganization, or similar transaction, customer records may be part of what transfers, and the new owner still has to follow this policy.

Our Instagram, Facebook, and ordering links take you off sipnsmash.net. Once you are there, this policy no longer applies — each of those services has its own privacy practices, and we encourage you to read them.

Contact form messages stay in our system while we work on your request and afterwards as a record of the conversation. Email addresses on The Smash Crew list stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Technical logs are held briefly by our hosting provider and then age out. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Email admin@sipnsmash.net and we will handle any of these — we may ask you to confirm the address so we are not deleting or revealing the wrong person's information:

• Know: Ask us what we have on file for you and we will send you a copy.
• Fix: Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or outdated.
• Delete: Ask us to remove your name, email, or message from our records.
• Stop: Unsubscribe from The Smash Crew emails any time using the link at the bottom of every message, or just tell us to.
• Do Not Track: We honor browser Do Not Track signals. There is nothing to track here to begin with.

Asking for any of this will never cost you anything or change how we treat you.

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email admin@sipnsmash.net and we will remove it.

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the database holding your messages is restricted to people who need it. No method of storing information online is completely secure, so we keep the collection small on purpose — the less we hold, the less there is to protect.

We may update this page as the site or the law changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and any meaningful change takes effect when it is posted here.
